The Region A Society of Women Engineers (SWE) awarded Teresa Goodwin with the Region A Service Award on June 27 at the Region A Awards banquet hosted by the Mt Diablo section at the Livermore Campo di Bocce.  Teresa said “I was completely surprised to be honored and incredibly grateful”.  Teresa has severed several roles within SWE since she first joined the organization as part of the collegiate chapter at the University of Nevada, Reno.  To name a few of her leadership positions she severed as section representative of the professional section in Reno the Sierra Nevada Section, she was a collegiate leadership coach assisting sections across the region grow and sustain their sections, Region A Lt. Governor, and she currently serves at the section representative for the Mt. Diablo section.  Her contribution to the organization has spanned over 10 years and she continues today to be committed to the mission of the organization.  It was an honor to receive this award given to for outstanding continued service.
